Fire.  A fire that consumes but doesn't consume.  Remember the bush that Moses found?  The one that burned but was not consumed?  God met Moses in that bush.  The bush wasn't God.  The bush was the meeting place.

God invites you to join the bush.  He doesn't want you to be God.  He wants you to be a meeting place where others can meet God in you.

But you must, like the bush, be consumed while not being consumed.  This is the puzzle of Terrifying Grace.  God wants to consume all of you that is not "meeting place."  But He will not ever consume the essential YOU. 

God will cleanse, clarify, purify, sanitize, whiten, brighten, the YOU that is essentially you, by burning away (as you voluntarally surrender them) all the parts of you that are not "meeting place."

Trusting God with this cleansing, trusting His Terrifying Grace, is what it means to walk with God as you walk among men.

Trust God today!  Invite Him to pour over you and into you His Terrifying Grace!
